What is ACTIVE?<\/strong><\/p>\n ACTIVE\u00c2\u00a0(Sobriety, Friendship and Peace) is a non-governmental organisation gathering European youth\u00c2\u00a0temperance organisations.<\/p>\n The main aim of\u00c2\u00a0ACTIVE is peace and tolerance in the world. We consider alcohol and other drugs one of the main reasons of violence and conflicts among people and therefore members of\u00c2\u00a0ACTIVE promote drug free lifestyle by their own abstinence -\u00c2\u00a0to prove that having fun, making friends and being free is possible without getting addicted and without any risk of hurting somebody or being hurt.<\/p>\n The main activities of\u00c2\u00a0ACTIVE are political work, trainings, intercultural learning and social activities.\u00c2\u00a0ACTIVE builds on international meetings, study sessions and workshops – educating it’s members on topics such as democracy, human rights or alcohol.
